Chinooks are a very rare breed, with just 100-odd puppies born every year. We have been successful in keeping Chinooks from being exploited in puppy mills by relying on the help of individual Chinook owners. While all Chinooks are first and foremost family companions, some owners are able to keep a male intact or raise a litter. I provide as much help as is desired, including taking responsibility for finding homes for the puppies.
